As far as visits to Dublin go, it's safe to say Chantelle Cameron will always fondly remember the last week she spent in Ireland's capital. The Northampton boxer spoiled the Katie Taylor homecoming and established herself as one of the biggest names in women's boxing with a majority decision victory over the 'Bray Bomber'
Pity then that the visit ended on a sour note yesterday afternoon.
All week, Cameron carried herself like a champion. She was a gracious second fiddle for all of the pomp and circumstance around Katie's homecoming, while quietly insisting that she was going to win the fight.
In the immediate aftermath of a career-defining victory, she was proud and not outrageously boastful about what she had accomplished Saturday night. She soaked in the boos from the partisan home crowd and turned all of Taylor's nervous energy against her.
In the post-fight media session, her face was beetroot-red from Taylor's salvos but she sipped a plastic cup of beer and beamed with pride.
Chantelle Cameron's team send needless Katie Taylor dig
So it was a disappointing to see Nigel Travis, who worked in Cameron's corner for the fight, post a photo to Twitter of the superlightweight champion of the world beside a photo of Katie Taylor with her gold medal following the London Olympics. The photo hangs at Dublin airport and was taken as Cameron and her team prepared to head back to the UK.

It was a completely needless parting shot. Travis was the most animated member of Cameron's team in the post-fight media event, hooting and hollering in the press room in delight while his boxer carried out her media duties.
He also hoisted Cameron on his shoulders after the final bell rang and paraded her around the ring.
To the victor go the spoils and all that but it's notably the kind of behaviour that Katie Taylor and her team have avoided during her gilded career.
After being inundated with replies from Irish fans criticising the tweet, Travis replied:
Wow some mad comments, just having a laugh. Chill out people, it’s all love
Eddie Hearn was quick to say that that Taylor would activate a rematch clause, and it's likely we'll see the two square off again this year.
And while there are very reasonable calls for Taylor to walk away from the sport, if the rematch does happen, the champion just handed the challenger a little bit more motivation.
