Last night, the first episode of three-part BBC series Fight Game: The McGuigans aired on BBC One Northern Ireland to significant acclaim.
The new series centres around the McGuigan family, their Cyclone Promotions business, and their talented stable of fighters, giving viewers a backstage insight into the lives of Barry McGuigan, Shane McGuigan and Carl Frampton in particular.
The first episode, which aired last night at 10:40pm, brought us back to last July, and the night when Carl Frampton became only the second Irish boxer in history to win world titles at two weights after his scintillating victory over 'El Terrimoto' Leo Santa Cruz.
Amidst the outpouring of compliments on Twitter for what was a tremendous opener to a potentially fascinating series, Shane McGuigan decided the time was right to drop a 'deleted scene' from the first episode, confident that it wouldn't be of much use for the rest of the series.
Frampton's trainer posted a video to Instagram which showed 'The Jackal' preparing to take to the scales in front of the travelling Irish army. But while McGuigan is mesmerised by the crowd and atmosphere, a concerned Frampton comes to the realisation that he's forgotten a crucial part of his pre-weigh-in preparation, and blurts it out to his coach:
Frampton: I never gave it a shake.
McGuigan: Huh?
Frampton: I never gave my dick a shake!
McGuigan: Go on, give it a shake there now.

That's an absolutely quality Ali G reference from Shane McGuigan, by the way.
The jig is up, or at least semi-up, for fighters, then. But in truth, most have us have been there at one juncture or another - perhaps just not in front of a few thousand roaring lunatics.
Frampton, meanwhile, didn't quite appreciate McGuigan's divulging of a rather intimate and understandably self-conscious moment.
