Canelo Alvarez totally outclassed Rocky Fielding at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.
It took the 28-year-old Mexican under three rounds to finish off his 31-year-old Liverpudlian opponent and claim the WBA regular super middleweight world title.
Fielding found himself on his knee four times in the fight, once each in the first two rounds and twice in the third.
Those two drops in the final round of the fight came in quick succession. The first from a blow to the head and the second, which ended the fight, was a devastating body shot from Alvarez.
Canelo is now 51-1-2 in his career.
