Katie Taylor made it four straight victories in the professional ranks with a sublime display versus former world title challenger Milena Koleva of Bulgaria in Manchester on Saturday night.
The 30-year-old Bray woman oozed class and superiority in what was undoubtedly her finest pro display to date, as she peppered her more experienced Bulgarian foe with explosive combinations, left hooks and overhand rights.
Tony Bellew, who was on analysis duty for Sky Sports, admitted he found himself cheering for Taylor, who he described as "the Anthony Joshua of her weight division." Bellew claimed that Taylor will be "running this game soon," and suggested her reign may outlast that of Ronda Rousey in the UFC. You can watch Bellew's reaction to Taylor's victory here.
The rest of the boxing world, meanwhile, and other notable personalities from different fields, echoed Bellew's sentiments, and praised the superb Taylor to the high nines.
Amongst those to tweet their adulation were Argentinian former World middleweight champion Sergio 'Maravilla' Martinez (watch his documentary Maravilla on Netflix, by the way - it's superb), Gennady Golovkin's promoter Tom Loeffler, and 2012 US Olympic boxer Jamel Herring.
I am a massive fan of @KatieTaylor Congrats!
