If you still haven't sat down and watched the Katie Taylor documentary, then fret not, you're just like myself.

But the excuses are quickly running out lads, now that the highly acclaimed work from director Ross Whitaker will be available to Netflix subscribers from today.

Already available on platforms such as Amazon Prime, iTunes, Google Play, Volta and the RTÉ Player, Netflix is the latest video-on-demand outfit to get a hold of the rights to the film, which picked up the Best Irish Feature Documentary award at last summer's Galway Film Fleadh.

Giving unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to the Bray pugilist as she transitions from amateur boxing to the professional ranks in the wake of her disappointing showing at the Rio Olympics in 2016, was a big hit in cinemas up and down the land as 2018 drew to a close.

Dealing with the five-time AIBA World Champion's split from her father and trainer Peter prior to that disastrous showing in Brazil, the 85-minute feature deals with her redemptive climb back to the top of the women's dominion as well as addressing other intimate aspects of the intensely private Wicklow women's life, including her faith.

Taylor, herself, will make a return to the ring this coming weekend in Philidelphia where she will look to extend her unbeaten 12-0 professional record against Brazilian Rose Volante.

The 36-year-old WBO Lightweight champ brings her own undefeated record into the fight against WBA and IBF titleholder Taylor, as both women seek to unify world titles.

The action will take place at the Liacouras Centre prior to Jono Carroll's IBF World Super-Featherweight title tilt against Tevin Farmer.
