While Daniel Dubois' sensational knockout of Anthony Joshua may have shocked the boxing world, it didn't phase Shane McGuigan who predicted the exact shot that would be Joshua's downfall.
Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois were facing off in front of 96,000 people in a sold-out Wembley stadium on Saturday evening, with Dubois' recently attained IBF Heavyweight World Championship belt on the line.
While Dubois retaining his belt may not have been completely unexpected, the manner in which he picked Anthony Joshua most certainly was. 34-year-old AJ, was knocked to the floor a total of four times before a deadly right to the chin put him down for the fifth and final time.

The fight which had been scheduled to last 12 rounds was over by the fifth, and an ageing Anthony Joshua missed out on what would have been his third heavyweight world championship.

Shane McGuigan expertly predicts Anthony Joshua's exact downfall
Throughout the fight, esteemed boxing coach Shane McGuigan, son of Irish boxing legend Barry McGuigan was on commentary duty for BBC Radio Five Live. McGuigan slammed the advice given to Anthony Joshua by his corner, before making a scarily accurate prediction as to how Joshua would fall mere moments before it happened.
Five Live had just played advice from Joshua's corner, where his coaches can be heard telling the former Heavyweight Champion to bring it up off the double jab - advice that left McGuigan in disbelief.
I think that's dangerous advice there to be honest.
I mean getting him to bring it up off the double jab, Daniel throws that right hand straight off the double jab and by bringing it up he means an uppercut - he's going to walk himself straight onto his short right hand.
If you asked me, I'd just say keep your hands up tight, get through these next two rounds and then use your athleticism late down the stretch.

As sure as night follows day, that's exactly what happened - Joshua went high, Dubois hit him a stinger with his right - seconds later the referee was on the canvas counting to ten and Joshua's bid for the IBF title was up in smoke.
This unique insight into the mind of McGuigan and the accuracy of the prediction is undoubtedly one of the best bits of commentary you'll hear in live sport and shows exactly why McGuigan is held in such high esteem by those in the industry.
