It was a big disappoint for Lee and Irish boxing when it was confirmed that his world title fight had been moved from his home town to Manchester, but Andy Lee has come out of the situation with a lot of class.
He took to twitter this morning to express his regret and sadness over the rescheduling, and thanked Thomond Park, Limerick City council and fans for their support:
To the people of Limerick and to those who had planned on going to the fight, I'm sorry, it was not my decision.

Defending my title in Limerick is my dream but unfortunately it wasn't to be this time.

Thank you to everyone who worked hard on the event, thank you @thomondstadium and Limerick city council. I appreciate everything you did.

It was a classy touch from the Limerick boxer. But then Andy made an omnious proclamation for his opponent.
All the disappointment of the last week has only strengthened my resolve. Now, nothing will stop me from winning this fight.
