NFL player Ray Edwards who was cut by the Atlanta Falcons back in November due to his poor attitude has returned to action, not on the football field though. He took to the boxing ring for his 2nd ever bout on January 26th.

The "fight" lasted just 41 seconds with his opponent taking an extremely suspicious fall to the canvas.

According to a report of the fight on myfoxtwincities.com

Pre fight introductions took longer than the actual fight as Briggs brought absolutely nothing to the ring. Edwards landed three body shots and a glancing blow to the head, Briggs took a knee and Edwards took a 41 second tko. The crowd booed, rightfully so as the decision was announced.

Presumably after realising that Edwards was 6' 5" and weighed over 250lb, Edwards' opponent's knees got a bit weak and the wind from missed uppercut knocked him over.
