A big thank you to Balls reader Joe McKittrick who alerted us to the outstanding act of kindness his five-year-old nephew displayed in the aftermath of Michael Conlan's Rio exit.
Everybody knows that the Irish boxer was robbed in broad daylight after scandalous judging scored a fight he dominated in favour of his Russian opponent, but while the rest of us were expressing our anger and disbelief at the entire situation, a wee lad by the name of Finn McManus decided to write a letter to the man robbed of his Olympic dream.
And he even offered up his school medal, this is genuinely touching.
@Flinto23 @ballsdotie @BeWarmers @SiCarswell @tomas5ky @BrianODriscoll What a classy kid! It was purely his choice. https://t.co/0VTiP1xvT3

Fair play to you Finn, that was a lovely gesture.
We're hoping it reaches Mick, who is surely still absolutely seething at being robbed of a semi-final spot in Rio.
