Ricky Hatton hasn't fought in almost a decade but he could be set for a return to the ring soon.
Sky Sports are reporting that the former light-welterweight champion is 'in talks' over a comeback boxing bout against Marco Antonio Barrera.
It wouldn't be out of the left field for Hatton to be returning to the ring in his forties. The likes of Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr are fighting into their fifties.
It would likely be an exhibition bout as opposed to a fully sanctioned one. His rumoured opponent, Barrera, is 48 and hasn't fought professionally since 2011.

Hatton On Returning
Back in September, Hatton spoke to Boxing News TV about coming out of retirement. "Yeah it has been mentioned, there has been a few little chats here and there with certain people."
"I am definitely up for it, I am all for it but nobody wants to see their heroes come back and get knocked out. Legacies are tarnished when that happens."
"But to see your heroes get involved with an exhibition bout with bigger gloves and shorter rounds and watch all the fighters do their thing again for one final time with no one getting hurt, can only be a good thing."
Hatton walked away from the sport in 2012 after losing by knockout to Ukrainian Vyacheslav Senchenko. He left with a record of 45-3 as a pro.
Many will remember his fights with the likes of Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. In 2005, he became The Ring and IBF light-welterweight champion.

Marco Antonio Barrera's last big bout came against Amir Khan in 2009. He lost a technical decision after he suffered a cut from a clash of heads.
Barrera did fight twice afterward but has been more of a staple on ESPN's Spanish broadcasts over the past decade. He's fought professionally 75 times.
Ricky Hatton has stayed in boxing over the last decade as a trainer. He's also promoted cards under the Hatton Promotions banner, which he set up in 2009.
