Gennady Golovkin is now 33-0 in his professional career after defeating Willie Monroe Jr. on Saturday night. It was also the Kazakh fighter's 20th consecutive victory by knockout.
Golovkin had Monroe down three times during the fight. In the sixth round, and on the third occasion of touching the canvas, the American seemed like he had simply had enough of being hit.
