We're less than a fortnight away from the most highly-anticipated boxing match in a long time. On May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Manny Pacquiao will take on Floyd Mayweather.
The promotion of the fight has been relatively low key, certainly in comparison to the McGregor and Aldo 12-day media circus, but Mayweather did give an interview to ESPN's Stephen A. Smith. Weirdly, this segment of the interview takes place in the 38-year-old boxer's car - while he's driving.
Never one to be short of self-belief, 'Money' claimed during the discussion that he is a better fighter than the general consensus greatest of all time, Muhammad Ali, as well as Sugar Ray Robinson.
No one can ever brainwash me to make me believe that Sugar Ray Robinson and Muhammad Ali was better than me. No one could ever brainwash me and tell me that. But one thing I will do, I'm going to take my hat off to them and respect those guys cos those are the guys that paved the way for me to be where I'm at today.
At least he gave them some respect for blazing a trail which he has since followed.
