Lebron James' free-throw inaccuracy continues. The LA Lakers star has consistently missed clutch free-throws at Staples Center this season and it has proved costly. It almost cost them last night during their 107-106 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.
Speaking post-game, James knew better than anyone that it is an are he must address: "I'm garbage. I suck from the free-throw line."
Per ESPN Stats, James is now 1-6 from the free throw line in the final minute of a one-possession game this season and has the most misses by any player. It is a stick that his critics continue to beat him with.
LeBron James is the worst superstar late-game, close-game free throw shooter ever - his Achilles heel. Never seen anything like it.

On Sunday night against the Atlanta Hawks, the Lakers were down by a point with 19 seconds remaining. James missed two free throws to win the game but Kyle Kuzma managed to wrestle the ball back after a scramble from the rebound and set up Lebron to score the winning basket.

It still took a last-gasp Tyson Chandler block to win the game but the Lakers managed to fall over the line.

While there is minor concern at his free-throw woes, it is not as if LeBron James played poorly. He led scoring with 26 points and the Lakers have extended their winning streak to three games.
