As the Golden State Warriors prepare to defend their NBA crown in the new season, shocking footage has emerged of Thursday's training session bust-up between teammates Draymond Green and Jordan Poole.
Green and Poole were both part of the team that brought the NBA championship to San Francisco for the seventh time last season, and are both signed to the Warriors for the upcoming season.
Media outlets reported yesterday that the two had fallen out on the court in training - but the footage leaked by TMZ today shows the shockingly violent nature of the incident.
Golden State Warriors: Shocking footage shows Green-Poole bust-up

It's a shocking clip, and one which throws a cloud over the Warriors' preparations for the new season.
Team leader Steph Curry spoke to the media about about the incident after Thursday's training session, saying:
JP's [Jordan Poole's] attitude has been great.
There’s nothing that warranted the situation yesterday. I want to make that clear. It’s also something we feel like will not derail our season and what we’re trying to build. That’s with Draymond a part of that.
It is believed that the incident was provoked by trash talking between the two teammates. It is also understood that Green will be punished by his team - but that is unlikely to go as far as suspending him for any games.
Time will tell if Green or Poole are involved for Sunday's pre-season game against California rivals the LA Lakers. Poole is physically recovered from the altercation, but it will have taken its toll on the 23-year-old.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr was livid when discussing the incident at Thursday's media session, but chose to praise Poole:
The only thing I will say is that Jordan has been fantastic throughout camp.
There was a report I was made aware of last night that Jordan had an attitude in camp. Nothing could be further from the truth. He’s been fantastic.
Disappointing to see misinformation out there, but I wanted to make sure I set the record straight on that. Everything else will be handled internally.
The Warriors' defence of their NBA crown gets underway on October 19, when they again face the LA Lakers. They will hope to have repaired relationships within the squad by that date.
