Happy International Women's Day! It's a day to celebrate the unquantifiable contribution that women make to civilisation. In the context of sport, it's a day to savour the incredible ability of sportswomen on this island and beyond.

Over the last few years, we've seen women's sport in Ireland occupying a more prominent place in the national sporting imagination, via both the traditional media and social media. This is great to see. And while liking or sharing a photo on social media is obviously no bad thing, the best way to show your support of women's sport is to go out and attend a match. Luckily, International Women's Day falls on a Sunday this year, which means there's a full slate of sport happening all around the country. From ladies football to camogie to basketball to hockey, there's plenty of options for anyone looking to support women's sport this afternoon.

We've compiled a list of some of the games that are on today. This is just the tip of the iceberg. There's plenty to choose from all around Ireland. Show your support of these brilliant athletes by attending one of these games today.
