One of the more bizarre aspects of this NBA finals series has been rapper Drake and his run-ins with Golden State Warriors players throughout. He exchanged insults with Klay Thompson, he squared up to Kevin Durant and he screamed loudly at just about everybody during each game.
Last night, the Toronto Raptors sealed a 4-2 win over the defending champions the Golden State Warriors. Their number one celebrity fan Drake certainly enjoyed the celebrations.

Yet, there were no hard feelings post-match.
After finishing his media duties last night, Steph Curry received a face time call from Drake. "Have you already got the (Championship) hat?" the NBA All-Star exclaimed. "You played your heart out," Drake told Curry.
The Candian rapper even went on to sympathise with two of Curry's injured team-mates, Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant.
It’s love, I’m going to see you this summer brother. Listen, love. You talk to KD, right? Much love. Send my love, send my respect to the family. Tell Klay even though he called me a pussy the other day that it’s all good, I’m going to let it slide.

He did go on to declare the Warriors dominance finished.

With that, one of the weirdest rivalries in sport came to an end.
