St. Joseph's The Bish, won the U16A Boys Subway Schools Cup final on Monday defeating another Galway school, Calasanctius College.
Brian Gaffney was the hero for The Bish, sinking a buzzer-beating basket at the end of double overtime to win the game.
The two sides had been tied at 56-56 with just five seconds remaining on the clock and a third period of overtime looking likely.
However, Gaffney sent his opponents into despair and teammates and coaches into raptures with his late winning shot.
Gaffney was also named the game's MVP after finishing with 24 points.
This is the moment which won the game for The Bish.
