"Did you call bank?" Chris Broussard asked Paul Pierce after his buzz-beating shot for the Washington Wizards against the Atlanta Hawks. "I called game" Pierce responded.
The 37-year-old showed the advantage of having experience on your roster as he again came up big for the Wizards. His side had been up 21 points in the fourth quarter but saw their lead whittled down as Atlanta drew level with 14.1 seconds left.
Pierce has been making big shots all his career used every ounce of nous he had to nail the shot which puts Washington up 2-1 in the Eastern Conference semi-finals.
