Cora Staunton has enjoyed some start to life with the Greater Western Sydney Giants.
Although few may have expected anything less from the four-time All-Ireland winner with Mayo, how she has adapted to Australian life (and sport) is something to behold.
Having already demonstrated her scoring prowess repeatedly since making the move, she was once again in top form today as the GWS Giants saw off the Western Bulldogs 46-28.

One viewer had an optimum spot to capture the image as Staunton tucked away the effort with some accuracy.

An earlier assist from the Mayo-woman also demonstrated how happy her teammates were to have her on board.

Staunton's GWS Giants now sit second in the table after six games; today's win against the Western Bulldogs reducing the deficit on the side leading the pack.

Needless to say, Staunton's ability to adapt to a new sport so emphatically in her later sporting career continues to grab the attention.
What Cora Staunton is doing in a new sport at 36, just a few months after taking it up, is amazing. https://t.co/xJVaEWn7vI
