AFL teams Collingwood and Hawthorn came together following their game in Melbourne last night to honour the memory of Adelaide coach Phil Walsh. Walsh was stabbed to death in his home yesterday. His son has been arrested and charged with the murder. Cy Jacob Walsh, 26, entered no plea at a brief hearing following his arrest, and has been remanded into custody.
Adelaide's game with Geelong was cancelled as a mark of respect, while the rest of the games went ahead as planned.
Following one of those games, the players and coaches of Collingwood and Hawthorn joined together in the centre circle as a tribute to Walsh. The video is below.
