Just ten days from the start of the AFL season and Ciaran Byrne looks to be in flying form.
The former Louth player is currently contracted to Carlton.
Over the weekend, Byrne turned out for the Northern Blues - an affiliate club of Carlton - as they took on Box Hill in a pre-season game.
The 21-year-old scored an outstanding running goal - called 'one of the best I've ever seen' by Mayo man and Byrne's fellow AFL player Pearce Hanley.

Taking possession in his own half, Byrne played several - to use a football term - one-twos as he progressed towards the opposition goal before striking confidently between the posts.
Simply outstanding from @Ciaran_Byrne94 for @NBluesFC this morning... #BoundByBluehttps://t.co/9QTpbyQRFM
