In the penultimate weekend of the AFLW ladder, the Irish women in Australia delivered big performances as the race for the play-offs heats up.
Mayo’s Niamh Kelly scored her first AFLW goal for Adelaide Crows as they battled to a narrow 30-28 victory over Geelong.
The win puts Adelaide in fourth place with one game left to play against St Kilda, while Geelong remain in seventh, with Kelly’s Mayo teammate Rachel Kerns returning from a serious injury on the first round.
