Those starved of real athletics action, and sport not dug up from the archives, are being thrown a morsel on Sunday.
Three of the world's best pole vaulters - Mondo Duplantis, Sam Kendricks and Renaud Lavillenie - will take each other on in a back garden competition.
From their respective bases in Louisiana, Mississippi and France, the current world record holder, the two-time world champion and the former world record holder will see who can vault over 5.00m the most in 30 minutes.
The action begins at 4pm Irish time.
