Ciara Mageean runs in the 1500m final at the World Athletics Championship in Doha on Saturday evening.
The 27-year-old from Down became just the second ever Irish woman to qualify for a 1500m world final when finished fifth in her semi-final on Thursday evening. Sonia O'Sullivan was the first to achieve the feat at the 1997 championships in Athens.
Mageean, who narrowly missed out on a medal at the European Championships in Berlin last summer, is amid the best season of her career. She ran her personal best for the distance, 4:01.21, at the Diamond League meeting in Monaco back in July.
Mageean is one of just eight Irish athletes to compete in Doha.
What time is Ciara Mageean running?
The final will be run at 6:55pm Irish time. That is 8:55pm local time.
