Sommer Lecky won Ireland's second medal at the 2018 World U20 Championships on Sunday morning.
The Finn Valley AC athlete claimed silver in the high jump, adding to the 4x100m silver which the Irish women claimed on Saturday.
Lecky, who just turned 18 last month, went clear at 1.90m on her first attempt to win the medal. That was a new lifetime best and also an Irish U20 record.

It was the second time during the competition that Lecky had broken the record. She also did so when going clear at 1.87 on her second attempt.
Karyna Taranda of Belarus won gold while Colombia's Maria Fernanda Murillo claimed the bronze.
Prior to this year, Ireland had won just two silver medals at the World U20s.
This was the jump which won the medal for Lecky.
