Just six days after she broke the Irish youth and U20 indoor 1500m records, Sarah Healy smashed the Irish indoor 3000m records at the same grades.
In the process, Healy, who just turned 17 last week, also won her first senior title on Saturday at the National Indoor Championships in Abbotstown.
The Blackrock AC athlete ran 9:10.43 for the 3000m, winning gold ahead of 2016 Olympian Kerry O'Flaherty (Newcastle & District AC) in second and Meghan Ryan (Dundrum South Dublin AC) in third.
The time bettered the U20 record of 9:28.67 set by Rose Anne Galligan in 2005 and Amy Rose Farrell's Youth record of 9:35.1 set last year.

Last summer, Healy came to prominence when she won 1500m gold for Ireland at the European Youth Olympics.
Forward to around the 2:13 mark below to watch the race.
One of the other most notable performances of the weekend was Amy Foster breaking the Irish 60m record. The 29-year-old ran 7.27 to break the record of 7.30 which she had held jointly with Anna Boyle.
