Rhasidat Adeleke won Ireland's third medal of the European Youth Olympics on Thursday evening.
The 16-year-old from Tallaght claimed gold the 200m at the festival in Baku, adding to the 100m title which she won on Tuesday.
Adeleke ran 23.92 as she finished ahead of Mira Koszegi of Hungary in second and Serena Kouassi of France in third.
"It was kind of a late decision to do both events," said Adeleke.
"To come away with the two golds is so unexpected and I'm just so happy.
"I just tried to have a really good bend, really fast and hold it for the last 100m.
"The Irish support is amazing. When you hear your name at the start, the crowd is so loud and you hear all the support, it just makes you want to do well."
Adeleke won 200m gold at the European U18 Championships last summer. She was also part of the Irish 4x100m relay team which won silver at the 2018 World U20 Championships.
