Phil Healy finished second in the 400m at the Millrose Games in New York on Saturday.
The Bandon sprinter - Ireland's fastest woman ever over 100m and 200m - crossed the line just behind American Jaide Stepter. Healy ran 53.72 with Stepter winning in 53.25.
The run was well-off Healy's on 400m indoor PB of 52.08 which was set in January of last year.
Healy had been fourth at the bell but pushed into second on the back straight as she attempted to run down Stepter.
