Speaking momentarily for the percentage of male internet users who see women's sport as an opportunity to ogle near-naked ladies, it hasn't been a great Olympics. Michelle Janneke wasn't even the Olympics, then there was the racist triple jumper. With the Olympics a day, the the pocket of internet users is beginning to turn its attention to one Leryn Franco, a Paraguayan javelin thrower who competed in Beijing and has even appeared in the Sports Illustrated swyimsuit issue. Such is her fame that simply googling the words "Paraguay:Javelin" (as Brian Kennedy informed us yesterday) brings up photos of her, some which you'll find below. We wish her the best in London.
