Oscar Pistorius was yesterday named the Spar Athletics Gauteng North Male Track and Field Athlete of the Year. He became the first ever double leg amputee to participate in the Summer Olympics when he took part in the men's 400m. He also won two gold and one silver medal at the Summer Paralympics.
