Orla Barry capped a superb Tuesday at the European Para Athletics Championships in Berlin with Ireland's third gold medal of the day.
Barry topped the podium in the T57 discus, adding to the medals which had already been won by Jason Smyth in the T13 200m and Greta Streimikyte in the T13 1500m.

Remarkably, all six of Barry's throws would have been good enough to win the competition.
Even her shortest effort of 25.63m was more than 5m clear of second place, while her winning throw was 8.23m ahead of Germany Martina Willing who took the silver medal.
