Jason Smyth won his sixth world gold in London on Sunday night.
The Derryman, also a multiple Paralympic champion, had cruised into the final by winning his heat in 10.73 on Sunday morning.
He won the T13 100m final in 10.63 from Poland's Mateusz Michalski in second and Australian Chad Perris in third.
Sunday night's medal adds the to 100m gold Smyth won in Doha two years ago and the 100m and 200m golds claimed in Lyon four years ago.
Shortly after Smyth won gold, his teammate Michael McKillop claimed Ireland's second gold medal of the Championships as he won the T38 800m.
Smyth will run again on Monday night in the heats of the 200m.
