Isaac Makwala has quickly become a star of the World Athetics Championships.
The 30-year-old was not allowed compete in Tuesday night's 400-metres final due to illness. He was expected to be one of Wayde van Niekerk's rivals for the gold, before the IAAF blocked him from competing.
Makwala was taken ill on Monday, and missed the 200-metres heats. It looks like after his unusual situation gained worldwide attention on Tuesday night. He will be allowed compete in the 200-metres two-days later than his rivals.

Despite missing Monday's heats, Makwala was given a reprieve to compete by himself in a 200-metres time-trial in a bid to reach the semi-finals.
Cheered on by a vocal London crowd, Makwala had to beat a time of 20.54 seconds to reach the semi-finals. He comfortably qualified, with a time of 20.20 seconds.
The 30-year-old even had time for a few press-ups after the finish line, just to show how healthy he was.
Wouldn't it be fascinating to see him reach the final after all he has been through in recent days.
