Thursday night's Athletissma meeting in Lausanne rounded off with a women's 4x100m relay in front of a big crowd at the Stade Olympique de la Pontaise.
Running out of lane one was an Irish junior team comprised of Ciara Neville, Molly Scott, Gina Moses and Sharlene Mawdsley.
In a race won by Switzerland with a national record time, the Irish team finished sixth and set a record of their own.
Running 44.31, they smashed the previous Irish junior record of 45.08 set two years ago. The time is also the fifth fastest ever run by an Irish women's 4x100m relay team.

With the European Junior Championships taking place in a fortnight, the Irish group certainly look like medal prospects.
More context on the 4x100 run tonight by Scott, Mawdsley, Moses & Neville. Puts them #3 in the World u20 this year, #2 in Europe.
