WWE Raw celebrated its 25th anniversary live on air last, with a host of former wrestlers making appearances on the show but one man, as always, stole the headlines. The return of one "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.
As he so often did back in the day, Austin interrupted Mr McMahon's diatribe against the WWE fans, saying how he built the show all on his own yadda yadda yadda. To be fair to McMahon, despite the fact that he's a 'senior citizen,' his promo work is still top notch. He really makes all of this, with Austin not having to say a word.
Elswhere, D Generation X and the Kliq had a mini-reunion in the Manhattan Center, with Triple H, Shawn Michaels, the New Age Outlaws, X-Pac and Razor Ramon coming together in the ring. In one way it was great to see but in another they all looked a little too old for neon glowsticks and the like.
It was a pretty cool moment for Wicklowman Finn Balor though, as The Balor Club then came out and shared a 'Too Sweet' moment.
There were a plethora of former stars featured throughout the night, including Ric Flair, the APA, Trish Stratus, Torrie Wilson, Eric Bischoff and the returns of The Undertaker and Chris Jericho. You can watch all of them on the WWE's YouTube channel.
