WWE Raw rolled into town last night in the 3Arena and the event went down as a success regardless of Ric Flair's gaffe.
For the main event, the fans were treated to a no holds barred match between WWE Champion Seth Rollins and wrestling veteran Kane.
The match was a thoroughly entertaining affair with Kane being sent through two tables and a whole catalogue of weapons used as the two superstars went toe to toe.
However, one thing fans may not have noticed was Seth Rollins receiving what has now been confirmed to be a very serious injury.

The champ was attempting a reverse powerbomb on the Big Red Machine when he seemed to slip and land awkwardly on his knee.

Despite being in obvious pain, Rollins powered through the match and retained his belt.
Rollins willingness to continue the fight for the sake of the fans has to be admired as he had to be carried from the ring after the bout and may face a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Wrestling is sometimes maligned for being fake but there's no denying that the performers are just as impressive as any athletes. Their willingness to continue to fight through the pain barrier is certainly more commendable than many other high profile sports stars.

Triple H famously tore his quadricep off the bone in the middle of a fight and continued as if nothing had happened. He also willingly allowed himself to be put into the Walls Of Jericho and despite completing the fight he had to spend the next eight months on the sidelines.
