Green Bay's passing offence was below par last season thanks in no small part to Jordy Nelson's dodgy ACL but signs look promising for this new season, particularly if Aaron Rodgers can keep performing mini-miracles like he did today.
With his offensive line looking particularly porous, Rodgers defied the efforts of the Jaguars defence and - while have his jersey tugged - launched a 29-yard score into the diving arms of receiver Davante Adams.
Absolutely incredible stuff.
Nelson is now back to full fitness and if Davante Adams can keep up this form (this is BY FAR the best catch of his career in Wisconsin) the Packers might not cruelly disappoint their fans again, as is so often the case in that part of the world. But hey, there's a lot of football to be played this season.
