Kobe Bryant is one of the few athletes in the world that transcends his sport. Everyone has heard the name of Bryant, even if some of them aren't aware that he plays basketball.
Bryant has been one of the best players in the NBA for his 20-year- career, and he played his final game for the Los Angeles Lakers against Utah Jazz last night. While the 37-year-old hasn't been at his usual self this season, Bryant saved some magic for his finale recording a whopping 60 points in just 50 shots as he lead the Lakers to a 101-96 victory over the Jazz.
To put that into context, Bryant's 60 points in one game is a high for the NBA this season - and his 50 attempts is a high in the NBA since the 1985-86. That's some effort.

He then spoke to the crowd:

In other NBA news, Steph Curry's Golden State Warriors broke the NBA record for the most victories in a single NBA season - winning 73 of their 82 games. That means that the Oakland based team had less losses in their season than their NFL neighbours - the Oakland Raiders despite playing five more times than them.
