It's been a major week for Dublin wrestling promotion Over The Top Wrestling.
They signed a deal with streaming service FloSlam to distribute their shows on demand. FloSlam provides footage to the WWE from independent events. The three combined beautifully last night at 'The Dream Before Christmas'.
The sell out crowd at the Tivoli Theatre was counting down to the start of the show, but nobody expected what would happen when it hit zero.
It's been a huge year for Balor. He was called up to the RAW roster and won the WWE Universal Championship at his first pay-per-view. But he subsequently injured himself in doing so.
He's been off television since August and is widely expected to return at the Royal Rumble in January.
This was Balor out of character, with an open microphone and just having fun. The tribute to Joe Cabray (aka Luther Ward) and Paul Tracey from his training days in Bray. The opening of a can piercing the otherwise silence. The crowd was hanging on his every word.
Magnificent.
