Trevor Lawrence is a name you are going to want to remember if you are a fan of American football.
At just 17 years of age, the man recently selected as the consensus #1 high school quarterback in all of the USA, stands at a terrifying 6'6" and has already committed to the National Champion Clemson Tigers for next season when he will enter college football with ridiculously high expectations.
Lawrence is one of 24 elite high school quarterbacks selected to compete on this year's 'Elite 11', a TV show on NFL Network tasked with whittling the best prospects in the country down to the very best 11, and naming one as the Elite 11 MVP. Players like Drew Brees, Matt Stafford, and Jameis Winston are previous winners of a show that has grown in popularity down the years.
In the first episode that aired last week we got a glimpse as to why Trevor Lawrence is so highly rated as they gave us a look at his background and showed some of his high school highlights as a junior, which were absolutely mind-blowing.
What an impressive human being.
Not only to grow to a ridiculous 6'6", but to lead his high school to back-to-back Georgia State Championships before he's even a senior. Experts all over the country have been fawning over his skillset and physicality, so it's no surprise that he's heading to Clemson next summer.
NFL Network have put the first episode of the 2017 Elite 11 series up on YouTube and we highly recommend checking it out, especially if you doubt whether or not Trevor Lawrence is really that good.
