Kansas City Chiefs secured a dominant win over the San Francisco 49ers yesterday, beating the home team 44-23, and taking their record for the season to 5-2.
After the first month of the season, some of the the talk had centred around the lack of chemistry in the offence, and a slow start to the season for their new wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster.
However, yesterday's game saw Smith-Schuster run for 124 yards with one touchdown, while quarterback Patrick Mahomes, threw for 423 yards and three touchdowns.
After the game, JuJu commented that he, Mahomes, and receivers Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Travis Kelce, all played Call of Duty: Warzone in the build-up to the game, where they won three games in a row.
This, according to JuJu, was the difference in their chemistry against the 49ers, which saw MVS and Kelce record 111 and 98 yards respectively.
The loss leaves the 49ers with a losing record of three wins and four losses, and in third place in the NFC West.
