Back in November we featured a story on Aidan Harris Igiehon, an Irish 16-year-old who had moved to the US to pursue his dream of becoming an NBA player.
All we had to go on was footage of him dunking in people's faces and the fact that he had an early offer to attend St.John's, one of the most prestigious basketball colleges in the country, but we were very excited, as were our readers who were thoroughly impressed by his 'mixtape'.
If you were one of those impressed back in November, and were wondering how he had been getting on since, the good news is that things have been going really, really well.
Not only was he selected to participate in the Nike Elite 100 camp, which aims to pick the top 100 prospects in the nation and put them in front of college scouts...
...But he has also really impressed those scouts, and has earned offers from some of the biggest basketball schools in the US.
Not bad for a lad from Clondalkin!

That is an absolutely incredible list of schools to essentially have your pick of, but if you're still not impressed, then a write up from Hoopseen.com paints a picture of a man very much marked as one for the future.
If his performance from the Elite 100 is any indication, Igiehon is set to soar up coaches’ big boards for the 2019 class. Duke is beginning to show preliminary interest, and, chances are they won’t be the only blue-blood involved when everything is all said and done. Expect plenty of college coaches to be following Igiehon, a player that has a chance to be regarded as a top-30 big man in the country.
This is seriously encouraging, and we look forward to cheering him on in college basketball very soon. In the meantime, his Instagram has provided some more massive dunks to check out:
