WWE has announced the ticket release date for their first ever live pay-per-view event to be held in Ireland.
'NXT UK Takeover Dublin' will take place at the 3Arena on Sunday 26th April, making it the most high-profile pro-wrestling event to ever take place here.
It will be streamed live to a worldwide audience on the WWE Network, and wrestling fans who are hoping to be there in person can find tickets at Ticketmaster.ie on Monday 2nd March from 9am.
Takeover Dublin is expected to be headlined by Bray-native Finn Balor challenging the NXT UK Champion, Walter.
The Irish pro-wrestling scene is experiencing a boom period with the likes of Balor, Becky Lynch and Sheamus having established themselves as major stars in WWE, while local promotion OTT has been making waves on the independent scene.
NXT has become one of the hottest brands in wrestling in recent years, and the UK territory has produced a number of stellar pay-per-views featuring some of the best of the European talent.
Irish interests will turn to the likes of NXT Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Devlin, Valkyrie and Michael May who are currently performing in NXT UK and will be keen to secure a place on the card in front of a lively home crowd.
