Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!
It's happening, it's really happening. Ric Flair is getting his own ESPN 30 For 30 documentary much to the delight of anyone who has enjoyed wrestling in the past 30 or so years.
ESPN 30 For 30 has to be the most universally loved series of sports documentaries, as almost every single one is gripping from start to finish, and we are anticipating one hell of a feature on The Nature Boy.
The news was broken by the company who are making the doc, Legacy Talent, on their Facebook page, so hopefully they do the great man justice:
We named this company Legacy Talent because it’s our mission to help preserve the legacies that our clients have worked a lifetime to build. Yesterday we took a huge step in documenting Ric Flair’s legacy by starting to shoot his 30 for 30 ESPN Film. We are honored to work with such a prestigious group on a project we are so passionate about!#Flair30for30 #ComingSoon
Firstly we are very happy to see the shocking lack of pro-wrestling 30 for 30s being addressed, and Flair's legacy is about as interesting as it gets.
There's no word on a release date just yet, so in the meantime you can enjoy The Nature Boy Ric Flair at his absolute best:
