Cleveland and Golden state went about redefining the True Spirit of Christmas last night, as they served up a sensation on the court: the Cavs coming from behind to snatch a 109-108 victory in the final quarter. Kyrie Irving was Cleveland's clutch hero, sealing victory with 3.4 seconds left on the clock.
Earlier in the game, the NBA proved they are joining the NFL in cracking down on all types of fun, as Cavs' veteran Richard Jefferson picked up a technical foul for a farcically petty reason. The 36-year-old soared above Kevin Durant for this score. After scoring, he picked up a technical foul for what seemed like nothing. Watch the score, and subsequent argument with the referee, below.

It turns out that Jefferson's crime was to wink - yes, wink - at Durant after the score, something deemed worthy of a technical foul.
Richard Jefferson's dunk-and-wink just made December 25th a holiday all over again. #NBAXmas https://t.co/SZGweRwD1M

Jefferson could be hit with a $2,000 fine if the NBA uphold the decision, and teammate Kyrie Irving has offered to chip in to help him pay it.
The restriction of celebrations is nothing new in American sport, as the NFL have been attempting to tone down Touchdown celebrations, something Richard Sherman totally blew apart earlier this year.
