The Oakland Raiders beat the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday night after a mad finish to the game which saw the Raiders score a touchdown to tie the game with time expired. Giorgio Tavecchio kicked the extra point to give the Raiders a 31-30 victory.
Wide receiver Michael Crabtree grabbed the decisive TD for the Raiders. It was the conclusion to a dramatic series of late plays which sent fans of both teams on an emotional rollercoaster.
With 16 seconds left on the clock, it momentarily looked like tight-end Jared Cook had caught the game-winning score from a Derek Carr pass. After looking at the footage, the officials decided Cook was down on the one-yard line. A run-off would leave eight seconds remaining on the clock.
On the next play, Crabtree would be called for offensive pass interference. That left three seconds on the clock. With time up, the Chiefs were hit with a penalty for pass interference.
Three untimed downs would follow, the third of which saw Crabtree score the winning touchdown.
