Things got more than a little heated in last night's game between the San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers. When a Zack Greinke pitch hit the Padres' Carlos Quentin, Quentin charged the mound before bulldozing into the much slighter Greinke.
Then, in the words of Ron Burgundy, it really kicked up a notch. Both benches cleared to join the brawl, followed by both bullpens. Matt Kemp of the Dodgers was especially dismayed, and went looking for a piece of anyone. The melee continued for nearly 4 minutes before petering out. Greinke, however, suffered a broken collarbone in the fracas.
