Over seven months after Super Bowl LVI was won by the LA Rams, they will kick off the new NFL season in the first of a mouthwatering set of week one fixtures against the Buffalo Bills.
The Bills enter the new season as the favourites for the Super Bowl, with the Rams in a chasing pack of contenders in the mix.

The NFL season gets underway with the standout fixture of week one.
The LA Rams took their second Super Bowl crown on home soil at SoFi Stadium in February, and will kick off the new season in the same stadium against the favourites for this year's crown, the Buffalo Bills.
It's a late start for the traditional Thursday Night Football opener to the NFL season, but it is undoubtedly the best matchup of week one, so it may well be worth staying up for.

The Patriots were Super Bowl champions as recently as two seasons ago, but they now stand as 33/1 outsiders ahead of the 2022 season.
They face a tricky trip south to Hard Rock Stadium in week one in the AFC East, in what should be closely matched contest.

Another of the strong contenders for Super Bowl LVII, the Green Bay Packers kick off their NFL season with a week one assignment in Minnesota against the Vikings in the NFC North.
The Packers were on the verge of the NFC Championship game last season, and will be hoping to go even further in 2022.
