@marcasbrennan continued his red hot form last week with another quartet of winners and tonight he has sided with some top class receivers and a running back up against one of the favourites for the Super Bowl.
Larry Fitzgerald over 80.5 receiving yards @ 5/6
The fountain of youth is well and truly alive in Arizona with Carson Palmer and Larry Fitzgerald showing that sometimes age is only a number. The former is in the race for MVP while his number one wide out is averaging seven catches a game. This week they face a terrible San Francisco 49ers outfit and although divisional matches tend to be tight, I have a feeling the Cardinals with post huge numbers. In eight out of ten matches played Fitzgerald has surpassed the above mark and I fancy him to make it game number nine tonight.
DeAndre Hopkins over 100.5 receiving yards @ 17/20
Hopkins has all the hallmarks of Larry Fitzgerald, including similar hair style which is always important. Aside from the famous dreadlocks, Hopkins has incredible speed that is supported by a superb route running ability which is extremely hard to defend. Tonight he faces the worst defence in the league at defending the pass, as New Orleans has given up a whopping 13 completions of over 40 yards. The Texans will have Brian Hoyer back as QB and this will aid Hopkins ability to make plays and I'm expecting a big game from one of the best receivers in the game.
DeSean Jackson over 62.5 receiving yards @ 5/6
DeSean Jackson is certainly a talented receiver but can drift out of games and struggles statistically when he doesn't catch a deep ball. However, there is a good chance he will catch one of them tonight as the Giants are very weak at defending speedsters, having given up 39 completions of 20+ yards. He has been blighted with injury all season but last week's performance showed that he is back to his best and you've got to remember that Kirk Cousins is posting incredible numbers when playing quarterback in his home ground. All these factors lead to Jackson having a big outing.
Todd Gurley over 78.5 rushing yards @ 5/6
This selection may come as a surprise, as many of you will see a running back playing in an intimidating atmosphere against one of the favourites for the Super Bowl. Not to mention they love skating into an early lead. However, a closer look at the stats involved show that Gurley may be set for a big night. The Bengals are allowing 4.5 yards to opposition runners and are one of eight teams in the league to have given up runs of over 40 yards on more than one occasion. There is an underlying weakness there that the Rams can exploit by consistently using the most explosive back in the league. The Rams defence will keep them in the game and Gurley will definitely receive 20 carries.
Delanie Walker over 60.5 receiving yards @ 17/20
Against mediocre defences Delanie Walker has easily surpassed the above mark. The Raiders pass defence is similar to the likes of the Dolphins and Saints who the veteran enjoyed big outings. Oakland are terrible at defending tight ends and there was the temptation to back Walker to bag himself a touchdown. But this will be a high scoring game as I'm expecting a big match from the Raiders offence which will means this game into a shoutout.
Brandon Marshall over 72.5 receiving yards @ 17/20
Marshall looks a pale shadow of the receiver that started the season in terrific form but the visit of his former team, the Dolphins, will definitely bring out the best in the volatile wide out. In week four when the two teams met in London, Marshall accounted for seven catches and tore the Miami secondary to shreds for 128 yards. The Dolphins are struggling of late and this could be the game when the Jets regain that early season form and there is no doubt that Marshall is central to all of this.
