The NFL International Series 2015 is only just gone and the league is already announcing it's fixtures in London for next season. The 2016 Series will have a new aspect to it with one game being held in Twickenham for the first time in the history of the Series.
The full fixtures have yet to be decided on with one or two of these teams still to be confirmed. The Series kicks off in Wembley October 2nd with an AFC South show down between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Indianapolis Colts.
This will be the Jaguars fourth consecutive trip to London with many in and around the league speculating that should a team move to London to capitalise on the European market it would be the Jags.
October 23rd will see the second game of the Series and the first NFL regular season game ever to be held in Twickenham with the St.Louis Rams taking on either the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys or New York Giants. October 30th sees the Series return to Wembley for its third and final installment when the Cincinnati Bengals play host to the Washington Redskins.
There is a chance that the Washington Redskins could also play the St. Louis Rams in the week before the Bengals game as the Rams are playing an unconfirmed NFC East team. One team setting up shop in London for two consecutive weeks would be an unprecedented move by the NFL and could be an indicator that the league is finally serious about putting a franchise in London.
